Casually glamorous

During my Big Apple visit, I was fortunate to team with Lisa Berg, an extremely talented NYC-based photographer. En route to my shoot I was pressed for time, so I reluctantly bent below the seat to change my top in the back of a cab and immersed in one of those typical New Yorker moments. From posing on the steps of the MET to reading the Times in Central Park, I had a blast curating this spread with an array of luxurious adornments. Inspired by the city’s urban glamour, I clashed my bright green J. Brand bottoms with a lace Chanel Peter Pan collar blouse and fur Miu Miu jacket– to strike a casually elegant look that’s totally contemporary and works perfectly to go from day to night. Although some fashionistas might think bright jeans are “so” last season, I beg to differ. They’ve actually become one of my go-to’s for flaunting serious style statements. While wrapping my neck in strands of vintage rose pearls, I carried the motif throughout with oversize rose teardrop pendant Oscar de la Renta earrings. By strutting my stuff in python and suede texture-block Prada boots along 5th Avenue; I rocked the street like my personal runway (or at least I felt that way)!

P.S. I apologize for recycling my jeans and bag from the second last post. Despite having a few pairs of colored jeans, I just love these pieces way too much and decided to show ways to re-work my wardrobe!

  1. i should admit that i m not a big time fashion enthusiast but your photos look awesome! Your sense of dressing appeals to me as it is not flashy and has a charm of laid-back stylishness to it.. May i also say that the close-up photo is very pretty!
