Lady Gaga has joined forces with Versace for the brand’s 2014 Spring/Summer Campaign, which has been dubbed ‘Lady Gaga For Versace.’ Here, Gaga resembles Donatella Versace with her long-straight platinum blonde locks, as she poses in a pale lilac Versace dress and hoards of oversize silver accessories– for a spread shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. My love for Lady Gaga stems from her creativity and originality as a musician and fashion icon! Unlike most artists, Gaga doesn’t use her completely sex to sell records, rather she markets originality and an alternative style that makes her unique and sets herself apart from any artist on the market. In fact, I think her ensembles are just as exciting as her music. And, I’ve been fortunate to see Gaga perform and her performances are much more theatrical and exciting than any other artist. Although I wouldn’t mind rocking one of her unconventionally structured outfits, body suits with exaggerated silhouettes, or over-the-top headpieces; I’m definitely lusting over her fresh take on the Versace’s latest campaign, which juxtaposes Gaga’s unorthodox style with Versace’s contemporary Italian flavor.
